The Class of ’68 representatives gathered together to present the SHS Foundation with a generous donation in support of the Arts, and Athletics programs. We were excited to share stories, experiences, and get updates about the class members and their successes and achievements over the past 50 years. Memories seemed as clear as if the experiences occurred just a few short months ago. Their class had the privilege of a new auditorium which they remember well. We would like to make you aware that the renovation of the auditorium is one of the proposed projects the school has on its agenda. The class’s donation is just the kickoff we need in hopes to garner more alumni and public participants to consider the mission of the Foundation and contribute to this objective as well.
Considering the number of students and functions since the auditorium construction in 1965, you can imagine the wear & tear on the equipment, amenities, and facilities. The SHS drama club has presented some tremendous performances over the past few years. It is unfortunate if you missed these most recent productions: Sound of Music, Peter and the Starcatcher, The Drowsy Chaperone, and The Crucible.
